Your New HDC Website!

HDC new website storyboardWelcome to the new HDC website!  Over the past two months, every page on this site has undergone our scrutiny and careful attention, all in the service of one goal: making the HDC website the best resource it can possibly be.  Whether you’re a legislator, looking for statistics relevant to the region you serve; a King County resident, interested in learning more about our hundreds of amazing members; or you are already an HDC member, looking for more information on our many Member programs, we upgraded this site with you in mind. Please, wander through our pages and see what goodies are waiting for you.  As you take your tour, let us guide you through the highlights…

  • Let’s start with this blog.  A completely new feature of the site, here you will find everything from policy updates, to features about our programs such as our Leadership Development Program.  The blog will be a great way to keep up with what us HDC folks are currently thinking about while you wait for the next installment of our e-newsletter.  Want to know the latest headlines at a glance?  You will always find an up-to-date list on our beautiful new homepage.
  • Next stop is our spiffy new events calendar.  Hover your cursor over an event for brief details, or click on an event to be taken to pages with in-depth information and details about possible registration.  Are you a member who wants to see your event here?  Email us to let us know!
  • Want to support HDC quickly and efficiently, and let others know how to do the same?  Our new “Take Action” and “Donate” buttons can be found on every single page of the website!
  • Our new online Member Directory allows you to search easily for our Member organizations and provides more information, as well as ways to connect with each of them.
  • Speaking of our Members, a new, private section of the website has been created just for you.  By logging in, you will be able to control your Directory entry, change contact details, add photos and announcements relevant to your organization, and, eventually, pay your dues online.  Read more here, and ask your organization’s member representative for more information about access to your account!

We are excited you are here and excited for the opportunity to better serve you!Fortune Cookie
