Housing Development Consortium of Seattle-King County

Raising awareness about affordable housing through education and community outreach.

Housing Development Consortium members have created and preserved nearly 16,000 apartments and homes, primarily in the Seattle-King County region.

HDC strives to create a positive perception of the important work accomplished by HDC members and show its critical impact upon the region. Housing is an issue that is tightly linked to transportation, education, the environment and health.

To promote a better understanding of the need for more affordable housing and the nonprofits that fill a critical niche in supplying it, HDC sponsors community outreach events and forums and supports a speakers bureau.
