Make a LIHTC Donation
Build strong communities with your LIHTC advocacy donation! Designate 25% of your LIHTC non-profit donations for HDC.
What is a LIHTC Non-Profit Donation? In Washington State, most Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) applicants commit to donate to a non-profit once the project is underway. For 4% projects, the non-profit donation is made at closing; for 9% projects, the donation is made at Place in Service. Determined by a formula, the total donation can range from $15,000 to $80,000+.
Updated rules encourage splitting the donation between Community-Based Organization (CBOs) and advocacy organizations: 25% of your total LIHTC donation can go to HDC.
Your LIHTC donation supports HDC’s crucial advocacy efforts to increase affordable housing opportunities. Contact us using the form to get started.
