2025 made it clear: we are making real progress at a moment that demands more of us than ever before. Since 1988, we’ve worked tirelessly to produce, preserve, and increase equitable access to affordable homes throughout King County. And while we’ve made incredible progress together—today leading the nation in affordable housing production among metro areas—the urgency and scale of our work have never been greater.

Throughout this report, you’ll find highlighted our collective victories and success stories from every corner of our sector—from record investments in the Housing Trust Fund, to the landmark Year of Housing 2.0 in the State Legislature, to winning bold improvements to Seattle’s Comprehensive Plan, to advancing major homeownership priorities through our leadership of the Black Home Initiative Network Policy Group.
