Protect Affordable Housing in Your City from Federal Tax Reform

Proposed elimination of a key affordable housing development tool, Private Activity Bonds (PABs), would make it much harder for our region to meet its housing need at a time when there is more demand than ever.

In the last thirty years, PABs have helped build 24,000 affordable apartments in King County alone.

  • 838 homes affordable to households with incomes between 0-30% of Area Median Income (AMI)
  • 513 homes affordable to households with incomes between 30-50% of AMI
