Vote YES for the Vets, Seniors, and Human Services Levy this November

The King County Veterans and Human Services Levy (VHSL) has for over a decade funded critical  housing and health services for our neighbors who need them most. This year, the expanded levy includes support for a growing population- older adults.

Housing Gaps in Kirkland

To meet the county-wide proportional need for affordable homes in 2030, Kirkland needs:

  • 4,890 homes affordable to households with incomes between 0-30% of Area Median Income (AMI)
  • 3,291 homes affordable to households with incomes between 30-50% of AMI
  • 1,121 homes affordable to households with incomes between 50-80% of AMI
