The City of Sammamish is hosting an open house tomorrow on updating the city’s Housing Strategy Plan; Sammamish Home Grown. As a resident of Sammamish, we want to make sure you know about this great opportunity to help shape the future of affordable housing in your community!

Housing Gaps in Sammamish

To meet the county-wide proportional need for affordable homes in 2030, Sammamish needs:

  • 2,324 homes affordable to households with incomes between 0-30% of Area Median Income (AMI)
  • 2,180 homes affordable to households with incomes between 30-50% of AMI
  • 2,428 homes affordable to households with incomes between 50-80% of AMI
