Brighton Communities functions to take capital and convert it into family ownership, living-wage jobs, and generational wealth — permanently, in the hands of the people who live here. Not a program or a grant cycle, rather a self-reinforcing community wealth engine that compounds with every investment made.
About the Project
- Family Ownership: We turn renters into homeowners. Homeowners into asset holders. Asset holders into generational wealth. 300+ units of planned housing across the portfolio are specifically structured for community ownership — not investor extraction.
- Living-Wage Jobs: Over 160 direct jobs will have been created by 2031. Every job is in a community-owned business, trades program, or locally anchored company. Workforce development pipelines feed directly into jobs that exist in the neighborhood — not outside it.
- Economic Velocity: Every dollar invested generates $1.80 of neighborhood economic activity. 20 new planned community-owned businesses. $24M+ annual economic impact. The engine builds itself.
- Community Agency: With over 200 government, nonprofit, and private organizations in the network, working as one coordinated force, the plan is not controlled by a single investor or institution. The neighborhood owns its own economic future.
