Support a robust Vets, Seniors, & Human Services Levy: Email the King County Council

The King County Veterans and Human Services Levy (VHSL) has for over a decade funded critical health and housing services to our neighbors who need them most. Join us in voicing your support for a renewed and significantly expanded levy with a robust affordable housing component.

Housing Gaps in Kirkland

To meet the county-wide proportional need for affordable homes in 2030, Kirkland needs:

  • 4,890 homes affordable to households with incomes between 0-30% of Area Median Income (AMI)
  • 3,291 homes affordable to households with incomes between 30-50% of AMI
  • 1,121 homes affordable to households with incomes between 50-80% of AMI
